GO2PDF

Go2PDF is a simple and handy application that enables you to quickly create a PDF document from any printable file.

It installs itself as a virtual printer on your system and lets you convert any printable file to a PDF document by using the “print” function from any application used to open that file.

Since it can convert any printable file, Go2PDF can be used to turn a lot of different file types into PDFs, including MS Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, CAD drawings, PowerPoint presentations, images, etc.

Though it’s both simple and free, Go2PDF still delivers support for plenty of additional features and functions, including the possibility to assign password protection to the output PDF files, various PDF access control options, PDF scaling, PDF version and compatibility control, font embedding settings, and more.

Last but not least, Go2PDF is very small, neat and lightweight. To sum it all up, it’s one of the few virtual PDF printers that offer so many handy features and yet it’s also completely free. In my opinion, it’s clearly worth a try.
